Pain Poem by Barsha Kumar

Pain

During some filthy nights
I'm just lost
In the light of the dark;
My pen becomes numb,
And my words
Peels me back,
In the rhythm of the
Tingling silence,
And so the left over's
Inside me cuts me deeper,
To smear the smile,
I borrowed from agony.
But Alas!
Now this treacherous moves
Of life
Doesn't surprises me anymore;
Because now this lacerated soul knows,
That it is lost in the
Harrowing journey of life;
With no dead endings,
But with serpentine roads;
Filled with the fading past,
Now metamorphosed as Questions
With insure answers;
Holding the Dawn of future,
To be embellished by the
Glistening drops of tears,
Stored in the withered eyes,
From the days of yore!
