Pain, Don'T Put Up With It. Poem by Jodie Louise Pollock

Pain, Don'T Put Up With It.

The feeling of emptyness,
Nothing I miss,
Far far away,
One more day,
No more,
Knock on the door,
No welcome,
All alone,
Still the same,
So much pain,
Ask them to do,
What that to,
Caring,
Sharing,
Life,
The knife,
Dead,
Alive and wed,
Never,
Clever?
Me?
We?
You?
I knew,

Nobody ever has the power to make you unhappy,
Never give them that power for they can hurt you easily,
If you are hurt in anyway,
Tell someone today,
I learned that the hard way,
But now I'm giving you my say,

To be hit,
Is not right,
Believe it,
Put up a fight,

You don't understand,
People help,
They give you a helping hand,
That's how I dealt,
I was the same,
No life no love,
All that pain,
My life a shallow cove,

Yours doesn't have to be,
The future is not ours to see,
But look with your head held high,
Whether you are happy or need to cry,
Never put yourself down,
For you my dear friend, you wear the crown,
The crown to your life,
Now put down the knife,
Lifes waiting for you,
You know what to do,

10/10 LOVE it you wear the crown, (making the reader feel like royalty) a great read to bring light in these dark times
