Pain is a part of me,
A part that never really sprung out,
A secret so well hidden,
It burned me all around,
Pain is my secret name,
My solace though it kills,
A feeling I never really left,
A hole that now reveals,
Pain is the story I read,
The one I couldn't cease,
The one that made me wonder,
The one that brought me guilt,
Pain is in every story,
Of history's years gone by,
It sharpens at the glance,
Of the now black blury sky,
Pain is now my heart,
How heavy it has become,
Trying to avoid it,
But one day it'll hum,
Pain is my new life,
The one I can afford,
I try to see things better,
No joy I can recall,
All dark, all grey, all bitter,
Is now how I bare to live,
I'd say I thought it better,
But pain is a part of me.
