(pains And Regrets Collection) .... Grieving Poem by Janice Windle

(pains And Regrets Collection) .... Grieving

Rating: 4.5

A stone in my breast
is tearing through the thin wall
that keeps the nightmares away.
She is broken
in pieces
lost in a red anger
grieving for her lost chances.
Remembered sorrows
misremembered,
twisted
into forms that I can't recognise
when I hold up my parallel mirror to the past.
Blame, blame, heaping the blame
of a thousand restless nights,
a thousand wasted days,
on my weak and guilty shoulders.

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

Often we blame ourselves when we view a situation as uncontrolable, or beyond hope. But, my friend, HOPE is the key.....that catalyst..toward the favorable resolution you seek!
