Pains Make Lessons Poem by Kane Healy

Pains Make Lessons

I write this to you
In a way that is mine
I hope you understand
It's just easier to in wind
I haven't put pen to paper in a while
Or thumb to screen should I say
I had nothing to write about
Nothing to tell
Or was it nothing new..
I could never tell it apart
I felt stuck within a dream

I was lost and so confused
I guess I still am
In some or many ways
Lost and yet still I refused
I refused to back down to darkness
Never let the talking shadows
Take claim of what left I had of me

I still haven't beaten it
It's a long way to glory for me
To overcome I must accept it
Though accepting it I can't do
All I want is to one day be happy
Be free
From my mind and it's voices
And have only of what's left of me

I fought
I fight
And will fight again
I'll fight till I can't fight no more
I here to say keep going
Keep fighting what ever fight you walk
As one day the fight will be over
Only you can decide who roars

Good luck in future battles
As I know each one gets harder to test
But I'm with you in heart
I'm with you in soul
As I'm sure many more will be to
