Painted On Tapestry (Sonnet #149) Poem by Tina Baaklini

Painted On Tapestry (Sonnet #149)

Some dream to travel the world on a plane,
Others to become a star hailed by all.
I once wanted nirvana to attain,
But now I only dream of you, my soul.

Loving you improved my love to myself;
Your deep love filled and healed my inner cracks.
I fear no more to shine, I left the shelf
To soar in the sky and never look back.

Together, let's create our little world
Deep inside our shared heart where we reside.
Let there be flowers and poetry words
And a sea of tenderness where we dive.

As our heart loves and speaks in poetry,
The world sees love painted on tapestry.
