Painted Skies Poem by Jon ProskeyVigil

Painted Skies

Rating: 3.5

The skies are dotted every night;
shinning there so clear and bright.
Looking down upon you and I;
hanging lights up in the sky.
Always lit up in plain sight;
far away burning with intense might.
Hung there for us to see;
mightier than the strongest tree.
Power unimaginable to understand;
but under a single beings command.
He placed them there for a reason;
they stay consistant every season.
Never changing always there;
but people just don't seem to care.
No one stops to stare at its wonder;
we are placed here under.
This piece or art is amazing;
dots that are always blazing.
This masterpiece makes some cry;
I call it the 'Wonderous Night Sky.'
