Painting A Rainbow Poem by Don Dickenson

Painting A Rainbow

Some say it would be fine,
To see a rainbow shine.
Without having showers or rain.
They think it would be grand,
To play with sea and sand,
With never a cloud up in the sky.
But, if you want a rainbow,
The story is quite plain,
Those colours in a rainbow,
Are rich treasures of the rain.
So, when the sun shines bright,
Then raindrops take that light,
To paint a rainbow in the sky.
