Painting Of Memories - Poem by Alexander Foald

There were times of us
When we used to laugh together
And there were times of us
When we broke and fall apart

I just couldn’t hold back and wait
When I finally reached out to you
I could always see the light behind your hair
And your eyes told me something true

How much it costs to bring you back
From such a distance you’ve gained over me?
How long it takes to let you know
That I have been waiting for this moment to come?

And we still have each the last piece
We can go through and make up some things
Like the old days you and I have painted
That was hung up on the wall full of memories
