Paradise Poem by Kevin Patrick

Paradise

Rating: 5.0

If I discovered Paradise
And received an invitation
But found chagrined
That you weren't there
Id cast away
From the deep crags
Of heavens great
Eiderdown moat
And braze the worlds
Tribulations
Accusations
Frustrations
Under the misguided belief
But which my soul cannot deny
That it is you

My Paradise

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I know this sounds terribly corny the language is simplistic and poetic devices are arch, but it was very stream of conscience and I wanted to express something almost romantic, even though I'm a cynic.
