Parallel Poem by Sage Sawyer

Parallel

Rating: 5.0

We're parallel.
So close.
But I know we'll never come together.
Next to me, you stand
I wait for you to take my hand
Instead you keep going forever
I don't understand, we think the same
But relentless laws are to blame
That I'm destined not to cross your mind
So to you I remain just a parallel line
