Parallel Psalm - Poem by George Savige

The Lord's my guide
And my supply,
As by my side
He hears my cry.

He gives me peace
As on I go,
By rolling hills
Or waters flow.

When troubles come
Around about,
My Lord is there
To help me out.

Though I walk
Through the valley
Of death,
I will trust in Him
To give me breath.

I rejoice in all
He's done for me,
And when He is near,
No evil be.

Surely goodness and mercy
Shall with me stay,
And I will lift up my eyes
And ever pray, AMEN.
