Parents Addiction Poem by brenda bauer

Parents Addiction

Rating: 5.0

I look around and see everyone else has it great,
I look at my family tree and see disgust and hate.
I see the devil taking over their soul,
Because they feel like there is no way to feel that hole.
From doing drugs or constantly drinking,
I can see that their time is constantly shrinking.
They make life to complex to open their eyes,
Not caring if was ready to say our goodbyes.
They don't seem to see that time fly's by,
And their living life full of sorrowful lies.
If you read this I don't want you to cry,
Because if you loved me you would of tried.
