Man was created in God’s image,
from a clay mould to a life form
he was conceived to love and care,
abided by all natural norms.
The tale of love first began
in God’s own paradise.
For Adam was alone, Eve
came along as a rare prize.
A memorable journey of love and
companionship thus commenced.
Setting in stone a relationship
that forever evinced.
A lamp is inadequate
without the light,
as is the sky empty
without the moon at night.
As for nature and man alike,
two parts make a whole.
Just as body is an empty shell,
without the pivotal soul.
