Past - A Total Dissapearance Poem by Cyclopseven R

Past - A Total Dissapearance

Strange indeed to believe
that past is a history
yet we continually wallow in misery
by product of history!
if bygone be bygone
why man turn back to see
every steps he made, and,
every slips he made?

strange indeed to see how fast past enters
as every second strike at lightning speed;
have man learned from the past?
nay, i would yell in a thunderous voice;
if man have learned so
the past would remain a history
but woes of man is the story of history.

if living in the past lead us nowhere
why must i be sad of each farewell
if living in the past lead us nowhere
why man rejoice for every meeting
only to say with regret of meeting
'I miss you all'.

is past an easy carbon
to be erased by mind stubborn?
is past truly unwelcomed
that to get rid of it is a whole lifetime?
is past never a mystery
that keep reminding us of the histories?

is past truly gone
that many writes lengthy poems?
is past a mere figment
of a mental layer unknown?

is past really PAST
or is it still breathing alive
amidst the thoughts that form the mind?

is past really a matter vanished
that yesterday's crude remarks
fail to exist in today's matured mind?

is past is whatever
that lived everywhere
yet it is nowhere now?
