Dear old friend your
time has come
though hard for us
it may be we
shall in our time [maybe]
see you again. Though
death has taken you
from us, we will
never forget who you
were to all of us. Yet
in the sorrow there is
still joy for you are
no longer ill, you are now
at peace. Though we
may miss you greatly
we know that is
is better for you so for
now we must say
goodbye
