Path Poem by Elias Thorne

Path

Stress feels more like a friend each day,
As I try to keep the world at bay—
To please myself, my friends, and more,
Yet feel more lost than days before.
I know this isn't where I long to be,
Still, God has chosen this path for me.
The One who's brought me through the storm
Now calls me still to be transformed.
I cannot lean on thought alone—
My heart feels tired, my soul unknown.
I long for God to make it clear,
To speak as though He's standing near.
So the path ahead is bathed in light,
And I may walk within His sight.
Not for riches, gain, or praise,
But to lift up hearts through weary days.
And this is why the weight is worth
The pain and trials we bear on earth
