Path Of The Wind Poem by Rodion Myshkin

Path Of The Wind

Oh Anemoi, raise me from this pitfall,
Let me follow you awhile;
Guide me to glide with guile
And feel freedom like a freefall.

Are you in a hurry
To reach destinations new,
Or carry loaded dreams in a flurry
With horizons to cut through?

An envoy of change across every trail,
Over seas & skies, in varying scale,
As a breeze, a gust or a tempest
Don't you need a timely rest?

Be it the coldest blizzard or the hottest gale
I stand immune to your turbulent tale;
So swirl by me & daze me in a swoon
As bashful nature flutters to your tune.

I now puff up, close my eyes
N face the Wind with relish,
I'm a child still, without compromise,
Nothing to lie about or embellish!
