Patience's Wares You Poem by Jef Vananden

Patience's Wares You

Patience wares you
aloofness precedes you
adjacent to the remorse
besides you lay nothing.

A figure, re taunts, the
on going madness
that is only left, to remain.
an object of great detain

blest who escapes
shadows inch behind you,
far beyond the dimmest light
a haunt waits for   you
proceeding you further
into the night

a laughing  cry
swallow's you
bringing you at ease
a show of relinquished regrets
lightens the forgetting way
