Pavlov's Dog Poem by Bobby Nenadovic

Pavlov's Dog

I remember belonging
to someone.

relieved & grateful…
I behaved.
though,
If I wronged
she’d withhold
and I’d suffocate

so,
I apologized.
until she stopped hating me.
until she felt sorry for me.
until there was no man left.
