Paying For Your Affection Poem by kevin cents

Paying For Your Affection

sometimes i feel as if, she makes me pay for her affection,
constantly having to spend every nickel and dime,
when it comes to i, she wouldn't pay any attention,
eyes glazed over like i must have lost my mind,
but what makes her better then me, what is different from my love and hers,
the difference is my love is free, and her love is how she earns,
i try to remind myself that i don't own her and were not together,
so i try not to call her, now i feel like she hasn't called in forever,
the love of my life has come and drifted far from where we once were,
hoping she finds her way in life, though we might not end up together,
so know that i love you just as much as the first time i looked in to those beautiful eyes,
even though you don't fiend for my touch, and in public you act as if you where a disguise.
