Peace Poem by Ellen Woodard

Searching and searching for peace that could not be found,
I looked to the mountains in all its majesty,
I looked to the sea but could not find solace there.
I looked to the Cross and there I found
The one who gives peace without any bounds.
In His care ther is peace beyond belief,
I knew this to be true when I found His peace.
For only in the Lord can we get our needed relief.
Only in His grace can we find our much needed peace,
Since without Him none can be found.
