Peace - Poem by Alice Piotrowska

To climb a mountain way up high
To see an eagle soar in the sky
To see a deer cross your path
And have the sun shine at your back
Hear all the birds chirping away
Suddenly there is peace, and you sway
Because the calm enters your heart
And it feels like you and God are
no longer apart
His beauty surrounds you
And it just astounds you.
