Peace

The word alone
Says so much
It is sweet
To speak,
And soothing
To the soul.
It invokes a quietness
Like a tomb.
To be able
To think without
Demands.
No interruptions,
No warring fractions,
Within or without.
To be happy with
Oneself,
And others.
To be truly at peace
What a wondrous feeling
That must be.
