Peace In Darkness Poem by Satish Verma

Peace In Darkness

Are you a returnee
from a lion man? The clay ripens
brown in the sun for centuries.

Love cannot remain
asymptomatic. Like Cleopatra you always
had worn-out wounds and flints.

No, not me will smile
after the death to take revenge
on the god, because man kills man.
