Pelican, Saboteur Poem by Windsor Guadalupe Jr

Pelican, Saboteur

Decrepit skin,
Sat down, in the sea floor exploding with squirming threads
And the callouses caved in
Like fangs of boa constrictors preying upon puny beings.
The road, adorned with brown leaves
The spruce of the morning took a whiff
Of the abomination of the one who walked,
Limping with principles that are bent and crooked
The ocean feeding on my feet,
Purging my soul, in the crystal clear waters
And the corals like poison ivy sprawled
With rambling teeth and flamboyant colour
The ripples in the water,
As I lift my left foot forward into yards,
Tarnished in breadth; envision the seaside mile and a darting pelican
The liberal force behind it, pierced my very core
And as I was annihilated,
By a speeding pelican, its beak crimson-smeared
Flew away, like the sands of time on my open hands
The waves, carrying my body like a raft, on to distant lands
And marshes of the bountiful and lush veranda for viewing pleasures,
Filmed the veneer of my body as it loosens,
Wears of, like a mask: Water soluble
Aqueous demise in bitter proportions in a panoramic screen
