Penda Poem by petero zeddy

penda, is the name I gave you after i was short of a lovely name for you,
well I loved your vibe the first day we met,
I gave you one of my raw jokes unedited,
you loved it and took my phone number
I was passing through a phase and i never wanted to spoil it for just a something,
that evening I had to make second plans just incase plan A failed.
14 days plus and when i came back you were my surprise.
shock after shock one is you crushed on me,
second you loved me.
I was in shock since i had this lady and to me you were my lady.
well i played around with words and i got you where i think my personal interests wanted you to be.
at first it was all bliss beautiful yet i had this lady that i sort of cared about she says though if did i could not have done what I did to her,
everything was going on perfectly till i noticed something.
it was just like a random wave on a calm ocean.
this pushed me overboard and i did not know how to recover from it.
well I did not want to drown in it i tried to look for justification in my actions yet there was none coming my way.
I had to swim to safe shore yet the vessel could not be able to carry us for the rest of the journey,
am typing this safely while at the shore yet still shaken not able o think things through.
am sorry for letting you drown at the sea.
