Penelope Is Tired Poem by JoJo Hsu

Penelope Is Tired

After three months of textile,
Penelope tired.
She cut the cloth and handed it to the maid
"Talk to men,
Let them giggle. "

Penelope Robe bathed, changed clothes
Combed long hair, wear silk, incensed
She opened the door to all men
"I'm tired,
Please let me have joy. "

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Penelope is the wife of Odyssey, the hero of Homer's Odyssey. In the story, she is chaste and loyal. Now I turn the allusions back and remodel a "Penelope."
