Penny For My Thoughts - Poem by Mikey Estrada
Plenty of people who think they found the one; now maybe it's because it is the first time they had fun but contrary to belief, love is a marathon run.
You have experience the wait and impatience of taking everything and waiting for it to reach the climax. That's true love.
But as we see so many of use move to fast its like playing with fire, you don't want it to backfire.
In the end someone always gets burned. For some it's a lesson learned.
The way we view leaves all alone those few.
It's so transparent that we can see how it stops us from being all we can be.
If we stopped to speak rather than look and if rather cared about who rather than what.
We will see all those years it took, could have been easily clear cut.
So the next time you see a penny, because there is so many.
Instead of looking at value, find what it completes.
It might be able to turn your change into something whole.
