I’m waiting for the perfect moment
To say the words in my heart
I need a perfect moment
To tell you those three words
You are the one I love
You are the one I’m in love with
You are the reason I wake up
And you are the reason I sleep

Now that you are in my life
I’m not living in fear or fright
You’ve come into my darkness
And brought with you light
You seem to have made everything right
Because of you it’s no longer dark
I am no longer afraid to dream
I’m no longer afraid to speak

You’ve made my bad memories
Become something new
You’ve made my sadness no longer blue
I’m happy and glad
I’m free at last
The moments of darkness
All seem to have past

I can sleep without fear
And dream without tears
I can move without pains
And feel without aches
I feel right with you in sight


I’m scared of myself
But don’t think it’s you
It’s me I’m afraid of
It’s me I can’t be true
The feelings I have
I never trust
I’m so scared it might be just lust
But I’m ready to admit it
