your so perfect

im not worth it

so i shun my feelings away

i try to fight it

but i cant rewrite this

my story is written in permanent ink

and i try so hard to be

part of your perfect society

can i borrow some of your perfection?

so i stand to look at my reflection

look at me dad, look at me mom

why is everything i do entirely worng?

do i make you proud?

are you happy now?

why am i never enough?

my heart shatters and the pain increases

as i try to pick up these broken pieces

this is what become of me

im not you, and i can never be



your so perfect, i must confess

those are qualities i do not possess

always trying to walk in your light

but i never seem to do it right

disappointment fills your eyes

draining this life i now depise

i not good enough and will never be

im only good at make believe
