Perfectly Fine Poem by Briana Johnston

Perfectly Fine

I tiptoe around each crack so I don't fall.
But lately it's just been taking me further down.
I've lost myself.
It's at the bottom of the hole.
I'm about to reach it.
But I think I can live with it.

I'm sorry for not being perfect.
But sometimes we have to deal with what we got.
It could be a little or it could be a lot.
It could be far off or it could be close.
But I'm okay......

Every breath reminds me of how many times I screwed up.
Because I screw things up with every breath.
There's no room for regret in my already troubled mind.
I just need to rewind....or unwind.

I'm sorry I'm not perfect.
But really I'm perfectly fine.
All I need is a little time.
And it will all be okay...

Sometimes we feel like we're not good enough.
But really it's just the world changing with you.
It could be good, it could be bad.

Sometimes I think I don't belong.
Then I know I must've done something right.
Because I'm learning.
I'm growing.
And I realize.

I may not be perfect.
But I'm perfectly fine.
All we need is a little time...
All we need is a little room to breathe.....

And we could all be perfectly fine.

I like how this poem says that your not perfect, no one is. This poem is saying how it's ok not to be perfect and how we can always improve. Good message, Nice one. :)
