.perhaps At The Next Epoch, Old Timer - Poem by Debora Short

Galloping Time
Races dreams
Sending clouds
Veiling hopes
But
Time
Now caught unaware
Finds self
Bound and lassoed
Lessons, Time, itself taught
Dreams’ rider
Aces another capture
See you at the next
Stretch, old Timer
Sings Dream
As she sails
Away to newer thrills
