Permanent High Poem by Dan Brown

Permanent High

I open my body to your control,
allow you to grasp my mind.
Only for you to abuse my soul,
and cause my being to unwind.
I drink you, I breathe you; a shot of love,
you’re my World upon which I depend.
My eyes roll cold and search above,
as the rest of me starts to descend.
Eternal conflict tears me apart,
I struggle to be good.
Evil demon poisons my heart,
sheds not a dropp of blood.
A faraway child begins to cry,
as I reach Nirvana; the Permanent High.
