Perseverance Poem by Tina Baaklini

Perseverance

If a drop of water falls on a rock,
It will soon dry up under the sun.
But if drops of water keep falling nonstop,
A hole in the rock they'll pierce. They won!

Perseverance played a key role in my life;
I owe her everything I fulfilled.
From scratch, I used to aim and strive;
With perseverance, I worked hard, all willed.

But above all, we need to love what we do;
Learning is like climbing a rocky slope.
Determination, perseverance come to the rescue
When in our hearts, dims the light of hope.

Along the way, you may fail ample times;
Follow your will's whisperings: keep trying.
Hard work is achieved with a smile and a whine
Before the peak you reach, triumphing.
