Personal Vendetta Poem by Demetrius JonesDixon

Personal Vendetta

My poetic precision hits you rapidly like the strikes from ten serpent bites.
The burning flames of personal motivation ignites.

Abandoning my dignity in the face of calamity is disgraceful.
My thoughts and movement would become heavy, not graceful.

Crippled by the doubt of myself.
Each day I'm trying to become more content with oneself.

And I thank God for all of those that frown at me.
Cause this year, if they're awarding for personal character, then I am this year's nominee.
