In the season of rhododendrons,
You smell of olives and cloves.
The roses and lilies envy you,
The leaves when they wave, crave your gait.
The birds stumble singing when you pass by,
The butterflies shy away,
The moon seems dull,
The dust hovering over smells of coriander,
The heart throbes a lil quick,
The earth shakes a bit,
The rains seem tranquil,
The grasses lovely,
Where you pass by
When you pass by!
