Such grueling occupation
That you chose:
A heart breaker of sorts.
Look at you,
In your night dress
The moon is pressed upon
Your sinister grin.
I eschew the places
That you go to,
Your impressions
Your Suns,
Your stars,
Languid constellations
And moon-embraced
Luminosity.
I lost all your
Photographs
In the harrowing wind,
And your smile -
Evanescent
With frail attempts of lingering.
In one vapid slumber
Of the harlequin,
As the snickering light
Of the night
Trickled down the shades
And pull them down
In an undulation of
Death and life,
I woke up,
Feeling nothing.
And it’s as if,
The castigation ceased
Into a conclusion
That you lost me.
The senses are deadened,
The perfidious lurching
Of the shadows turned into
Sojourns
And I woke up,
With a stone
For a heart.
