Peyto Lake Poem by Charlotte Ballard

Peyto Lake

A curve of blue
Like a fat bellied man
With his hands outstretch
Directing the choir praising
The mountains with green gruff
Grown long -
The pines stand in attendance
Waiting for the rain to fall.
