Ph: Life: I Am So Blessed! Poem by Brian Johnston

Ph: Life: I Am So Blessed!

Oh my sweetie is a cutie,
All she needs do is shake her bootie,
But what makes me want to hoo-tee,
Is when she's a dancing nudie.

Oh, she always is in fashion,
A rockette when she has her boots on,
But what really wakes my passion,
Is when her lower parts are flashin.'

When she is near the world's on mute,
To say that she's loved would be astute,
No law degree from institute,
Required to know her case is moot.

No court on earth could ascribe blame,
Ever cast dispersion on her name,
A joke, the finger bone of shame…
Our three year old just enjoys her fame.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM

So just at what age does a child's God given sexuality become a criminal offense? Count me as one who believes that this is yet another way that the sins of the parents are passed down to the children, a simplistic, Satan-inspired, lazy, and cruel form of child-molestation that parents foist on their children in an attempt to protect the parents themselves (not the child really) from the embarrassment / difficulties of a child's discovery of sexual feelings and the mere possibility of a child being born out of wed-lock.

Let me be clear that I AM NOT condoning the hidden or outward expression of adult sexual feelings for a child in this poem. That is just wrong / sick on so many levels and any adult who harbors such feeling clearly in need of serious help. Perhaps they were victims themselves of a predatory adult? That cannot excuse predatory behavior towards a child. Society clearly is right to step in.

There are different kinds of passion as well. The passion I am speaking of is simply the joy this father felt in witnessing the his child's exuberance for life, her joy of being the center of attention, and complete innocence to the possibility that her own nudity might play any role in this. If you are not a parent who has delighted in his/her own child's innocence around nudity, then perhaps this poem is not for you.

Lazy parenting damages so many young people, and many never really recover from this aberrant behavior by their parents. It is really the West's own particularly destructive form of sexual perversion and roughly equivalent to the mutilation of female genitalia in other primitive societies (to control women's sexual feelings don't you know) . At least the Western form is more democratic. We attack both male and female sexuality with almost equal vehemence, even possibly serving Satan by pretending that this abomination is Biblically inspired. This brought to you by people who deny that your interpretation of the Bible is your right and as 'good' as theirs. We must all leave that to the so-called 'well educated' clergy that Christ himself was ultimately killed by.

It would be well to keep in mind that absolute power corrupts absolutely, or hadn't you heard that the Bible says the world is flat, that your denomination is the only one going to heaven, and that Science, whose 'truth' can be easily tested by any interested party, is somehow of the devil and not God. Truly, if it were not for God's grace, not a single soul would have 'a snowball's chance in Hell.'

Children do need to be protected from perverted adult behavior, especially the sexually aberrant behavior of parents, teachers, relatives, neighbors, religious leaders, and priests! It's just not that clear who should 'cast the first stone.' Wait, didn't someone somewhere suggest that none of us should do that? Maybe making candy treats illegal would help?
COMMENTS OF THE POEM

I read the poem and think it is well written and your views expressed in a very logical and practical way. I find censorship is good when done with valid reasons (such as inappropriate profanity) but this piece is about a father and his daughter (no malice in it, I hope) . Thought-provoking.
