Phantom Loss Poem by Katz Haus

Phantom Loss

I had a naughty dream last night
Your mouth was warm and soft
And stirred hot lava swirls down deep
And earthquakes at the surface
And Roman Candles in the sky.
And then you were gone
And I was bereft
Because I had no chance
To swirl your lava
Or move your earth
Or light up your night sky.
And then I awoke.
Alone.
