Polaris Poem by Katz Haus

Polaris

At 42 degrees
In the North Sky
You shine
With calm, unwavering light
A constant guide
Through lifetimes
Of longest nights

Though fireworks explode around me
Dazzling me with their brilliance,
When the smoke clears,
You'll be there
And my tears
Will be cleansed
By the rain.
