Photos Vs. Memories
I can no longer look at the photos
And see the love that was there
Memories now faded
Into the blur that became misery
Now become just pictures
That feed not the heart or hope
To any future with or without you
Pale and forced
I surrender to the oblivion
Of loneliness
Without a care to myself
I move through these days
That exist too long.
