POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
When the Nazis did it, they called it eugenics. When Canada does it, they call it MAID. Piñata is a gnome inspired by people that identify as a nonhuman entities. In Canada we have the MAID program, (Medical Assistance In Dying) and there are plans to include treatable mental disorders. When will they start to euthanize our children just because they identify as a cat or a dog. Piñata is a couplet written in 19 words and tredasyllabic meter and centered for aesthetic symmetry, the image is by me, Josehf Lloyd Murchison.
