Spider In My Window Poem by Josehf Murchison

Spider In My Window

Rating: 5.0

There's a Spider in My Window.

There's an Orb Weaver spider in my window,
it's weaving a new web today.
There's an Orb Weaver spider in my window,
and in its web, it will catch prey.

With a web that is almost invisible.
So tiny, small strands that are clear.
Completely unwary flies and mosquitoes,
so foolish they fly much too near.

There's an Orb Weaver spider in my window,
it's weaving a new web today.
There's an Orb Weaver spider in my window,
and in its web, it will catch prey.

The mosquitoes they bite me in the nighttime,
and the flies can carry such blight.
But the Orb Weaver spider's tiny webbing,
keeps me safe from bugs in the night.

I don't think that I will disturb her webbing,
she is cute in black and white stripes.
So instead, I will wish her good morning,
and wish her a safe and good night.

There's an Orb Weaver spider in my window,
it's weaving a new web today.
There's an Orb Weaver spider in my window,
and in its web, it will catch prey.

Well done! I give it five stars. Yes, spiders catch flies and mosquitos and other little pests.
