'Picture' Poem by Talisa Dee Whitmore

'Picture'

A picture of us is on my bed; thoughts of you run through my head, it feels me with sorrow. I guess our love was one that's borrowed. Thoughts of all that we've been through. Unfortunately I know it wad my fault to. I wish you knew how much it hurts. I wish you'd see that I have learned. To your heart, I could tend. Let's restart together again. I know that you just can't see, I wish that you would trust me. Take my hand and we can go, I won't leave you all alone. I know that you're no longer mine. I wish you were still by my side. All of my thoughts come pouring out, you are all that I can think about. Too many thoughts go through my mind. I wish I could restart my life. Then I could put up a fight and you would see that I'm right.
