Every chapter tells a story.
And our pages are turning fast.
Everything’s zipping by except for when I’m with you.
When I look into your eyes, my foot hits the breaks.
All the motions and sounds of everyday life come to a complete stop.
All I hear is your soothing tender voice.
All I see is your baby blues eyes.
Your gentle touch alone turns my knees into Jell-O.
I can barely stand.
These moments you and I have are precious, and I’ve captured everyone.
Like, the way you call me “baby”.
The way you gently rub my back when I’m having a nightmare.
I look back on these moments every day.
Especially during a rainy day.
The thought of you being in my life lifts me up more than you can imagine.
