As the night fails to stain
A single image on my brain
I sit upon my window pane
To silently stare at the moon again
A peaceful spot
A simple thought
My breath was caught
Held by the ticking clock
In time I shared my thoughts in a book
A rose to symbol love, be the crook
To steal away moments with a look
Oh how I love to love this nook
