Pilipinas - Poem by RIC BASTASA

scattered islands
endless shores
blue skies
green rivers
exotic talking birds
nipa huts
verdant mountains
fresh breeze
tall trees

of many creeds
and a million or so
brown people

they are leaving you
for America.
