Pinions Of A Borrowed Day Poem by MOSES IGGA

Pinions Of A Borrowed Day

The half of me bleeds with sour sovereign
I wish I could keep up
But my heart is weak
And my head trolls at every inch of thought

Far a fair distance in the east
At the coast where the sun rises
I hear birds sing with melancholy
With tear and torture
Its a clear manifest
Of my torn soul
Rarest of all songs
But fairest.
